The 50th World Environment Day was hosted with focus on solutions to plastic pollution under the campaign #BeatPlasticPollution. We look at how plastic pollution especially our addiction to single use plastic products is choking the world and how action from various stakeholders is required to solve the crisis. Indian stock market continued their performance run and Sensex and Nifty 50 improved by almost 3.35% to close at 64,718.56 and 3.60% to close at 19,201.70 respectively in the month of June 2023.
